Studio

The musicube academy studio is a modern film scoring production studio where students can work in immersive audio formats such as Dolby Atmos and Auro-3D. As a Dolby Atmos Enabled studio, verified by Dolby, it offers a reference monitoring environment that makes professional decision-making in spatial audio and surround mixing tangible and repeatable.

A key aspect is the workflow focus: the studio is set up not only for Atmos work in post-production contexts, but also for creating Dolby Atmos mixes directly from MIDI-based productions. In a 122 cubic metre control room, this supports clear, reliable results, which can then be checked in different listening environments, for example in a nearby cinema.

To support this, the studio provides a high-performance infrastructure: a computing cluster with 512 GB of RAM in total, multiple orchestral libraries, extensive synthesiser sound sources, and additional libraries with a very large palette of sounds. This allows students to learn how to realise immersive productions with technical confidence, while shaping them with the precision expected in professional release formats.
