musicube academy has existed since 2003. What started as a small institution has continued to grow over the years. Today, musicube academy offers a broad range of options for students who pursue different paths into professional practice as composers and music producers.

From the initial segments Film Scoring and Production and Advanced Film Scoring and Production, the portfolio has expanded. It now includes Media Music Producer as well as the academic degree programmes Bachelor of Music Composition for Film, Games & Media and Master of Music Composition for Film, Games & Media.

Organisationally, musicube academy is structured through two entities: musicube academy UG (Haftungsbeschränkt), i.G., for the academic degree programmes, and musicube academy Foundation GmbH & Co. KG, i.G., for the preparatory programmes. This structure supports a modular system for different entry levels. It also creates a realistic entry route for applicants who are not yet advanced enough in their musical or production development for the academic track.

This combination is a core feature of musicube academy: an early, structured start through preparatory programmes, alongside the option to study at a demanding level through to Bachelor and Master. In this field, the integration of entry pathways and academic degree programmes within one institution is unique in this form.
