2. General information on data processing
We process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide a functional website and our content and services.
The legal bases for processing are in particular Art. 6 (1) (a) (consent), (b) (performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures), (c) (legal obligation) and (f) (legitimate interests) GDPR.
3. Provision of the website and server log files
Each time our website is accessed, our hosting provider automatically collects data and information from the system of the accessing device (server log files).

5. Application and registration forms
You can apply for preparatory programs, degree programs and information sessions of musicube academy via online forms on our website.
Depending on the form, we process for example:
first and last name
contact details (email address, phone number)
place of residence / country
information on your musical background, education and interests
desired program, starting date and additional information necessary to evaluate your application.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures and performance of a contract).
If we also use your contact details to inform you about further suitable programs and dates, this is based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, which you may withdraw at any time with effect for the future.
6. Newsletter / Email campaigns
If you subscribe to our newsletter or similar email updates, we use your email address and, where provided, your name to send you regular information about our programs, dates and news.
Subscription is usually based on a double opt-in procedure.
The legal basis for processing is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. You may withdraw your consent at any time, for example via the unsubscribe link included in every email.
We may use an external email service provider (e.g. Brevo) as a processor for sending emails. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place.

We use cookies and similar technologies on our website. Some cookies are technically necessary to operate the site („necessary cookies“). Others serve statistical or marketing purposes.

content data (audio and video streams, chat messages).
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual/contractual measures) and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in efficient communication).
Zoom is provided by Zoom Video Communications, Inc., USA. A transfer of personal data to the USA cannot be excluded. We use the EU standard contractual clauses as appropriate safeguards.
11. Recipients and third-country transfers
Where we engage external service providers (e.g. for hosting, email dispatch, analytics or video conferencing), personal data is shared with these processors only on the basis of a legal ground. Data processing agreements pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR are in place.
Data may be transferred to third countries (in particular the USA) where appropriate safeguards such as an adequacy decision by the European Commission or standard contractual clauses are in place and, where required, subject to your explicit consent.
